Deer Park ticks all the boxes for newlyweds

Situated on Cambridge Road just outside the charming market town of St. Neots, Deer Park offers the region’s homebuyers a stunning selection of three-, four- and five- bedroom homes in a pleasant, rural location. Part of the emerging Loves Farm community, Deer Park is ideal for those seeking quality homes in a modern environment.
Following several unsuccessful external viewings of older properties, Philip and Jenny Gibbs decided to look around the new development after it was recommended to them by an estate agent.
Jenny says “We hadn’t really considered new builds but as soon as we visited Deer Park and saw the Regent house type, that was it. The home ticked all our boxes and it really was exactly what we were looking for.”
The Regent is a stunning four- bedroom detached home. The ground floor of this traditional yet modern style boasts a surprisingly spacious entrance hall, charming living room with bay window, study, cloakroom, dining room, open plan kitchen/breakfast room as well as a utility room. The first floor completes this superb property with four good size bedrooms, the master with en-suite facilities, and the family bathroom.
Philip adds “The quality was very good and we were impressed with the design and in particular the thoughtful layout. I have Parkinsons disease so layout was a major issue for us but the Regent style fitted the bill perfectly. There’s easy access to all rooms, the doors are wide enough to fit a wheelchair should it become necessary, and the study downstairs is a good size so if in time I need to have a bedroom downstairs then converting it wouldn’t be a problem.
Philip and Jenny also took advantage of David Wilson’s part exchange scheme which allowed them to trade in Jenny’s old three- bedroom semi-detached house for their brand new home and, as they bought off-plan, the couple also had the advantage of choosing certain interior finishes which helped make the home their own.
The couple moved into their new home last October just a few months before their romantic, candlelit Christmas wedding on the 27th December.
Jenny continues “We really love our new home and it’s such a nice feeling knowing that we’re the first people to live here. I couldn’t have hoped for a better place to start to our new life as husband and wife.”
Jackie Day, Sales Director for David Wilson comments “Deer Park is a fantastic development in a flourishing residential area of St Neots. There are a number of styles on offer that will suit the needs of a range of different homebuyers.
“Philip and Jenny took advantage of our part-exchange scheme which continues to prove a popular option for many home owners struggling to sell their existing home during the current economic climate.
“With a charming rural location, close to the amenities of St Neots and aptly described as a commuters heaven because of its easy access to Peterborough, Cambridge and London, Deer Park is the ideal place to start married life.”
