CALA homes returns to Oxford

6th April 2007 Print
CALA Homes (Midlands) has started work on a new luxury housing development in one of Oxford’s most sought after residential areas. The Birmingham-based, award winning, premium housebuilder is building nine prestigious two-bedroom apartments in a development to be known as Dean House, on Dean Court Road off Cumnor Hill in Oxford.

Similar high specification two bedroom apartments have sold well ahead of plan at CALA Homes’ developments in Earlsdon near Coventry and in Knowle near Solihull, and the company has high hopes of repeating this success in Cumnor Hill.

“Cumnor Hill is one of the best addresses in Oxford, so we are pleased to be developing there. It has good access to the city centre, but also to the Oxfordshire countryside and beyond,” says CALA Homes (Midlands) sales and marketing director Sue Parry.

“We have spent much time and effort with our architect working on the design for these new homes, as we wanted to make sure that they are right for Cumnor Hill.”

CALA Homes is no stranger to the area having previously developed new homes in Witney, Stonesfield and Chipping Norton.

The company has already received significant interest from people wanting to find out more about the scheme.

“Due to Dean House’s fantastic location, the superb design and excellent specification that will be found at these properties, we have received much interest from people who want to live in Cumnor Hill. We are advising anyone who is interested in finding out more about this development to call our sales team,” continues Mrs Parry.

The first new homes at Dean House will be released for purchase in August 2007, at prices expected to range from £325,000 to £425,000.

Knight Frank’s Oxford office has been appointed as selling agent.
