Families step up this half term with Barratt

Families step up this half term with Barratt The half term holidays were a walk in the park for parents in Oxfordshire looking for a new home and something to entertain the kids. During the school break Barratt Mercia’s Aquarius and Axis developments in Witney and Banbury respectively were open every day and had some great deals available to help families take a step up the ladder to a brand new home.

On selected properties at both developments potential buyers were offered a part-exchange deal, plus legal fees paid, stamp duty paid and free removals, which all added up to a hassle-free route to a straight forward house move. And for the children, there was the challenge of a giant Jenga and a giant Connect 4, both of which required some clever moves to master.

Plus mums and dads were challenged with Barratt’s brain busting ‘steps’ quiz which feature 10 questions relating to the words step or walk.

Chris Ashmore, Sales Director for Barratt said, “Half term is a great opportunity for families to spend time together and our quiz and the giant games proved a real hit with parents and children alike wanting to test their knowledge, their nerves and their skill at making the right moves at the right time!

“For many people a house move can seem just as testing and for those with a property to sell, the thought of being tied into a chain makes the whole process even more complex. But by part-exchanging an existing property for a brand new Barratt one, all these problems are removed leaving a clear

pathway to your next home. Plus we can make the process even easier by helping out with some of the house buying costs such as the legal fees, stamp duty and even the removal fees. All you have to do is choose the right home to make the winning move!”

Aquarius on Witan Way in Witney is a stunning development of three- and four-bedroom houses and some one- and two-bedroom apartments, located along the banks of the pretty Windrush River. Currently available for sale are the three-bedroom Leamington and the four-bedroom Tunbridge style properties, priced from £297,000. The apartments are on sale from £189,995.

At the Axis development on Merton Street in Banbury, is a major new destination for the town providing a brand new community which has helped regenerate the former cattle market. Since its launch two years ago, many families have make Axis their home and now the final phase of properties are under construction. All the family homes were sold over the half term break and now just a collection of two-bedroom apartments remain for sale priced from £158,995.
