Local estate agent gives Aquarius seal of approval

Local estate agent gives Aquarius seal of approval After taking a break from finding others their dream home, local estate agent Wendy Reeve has found her perfect riverside apartment at Barratt Mercia’s Aquarius development on Witan Way in Witney.

With picturesque views and beautifully built properties to match, homes such as those at Aquarius are hard to come by and after realising that other new home developments did not come up to scratch, Wendy purchased her dream apartment at the development.

Wendy, Branch Manager for Buckell and Ballard Estate Agents commented, “I was initially drawn to Aquarius because of the close proximity to Witney town centre along with the spacious and well-appointed properties available. Waterside homes rarely lose their value, making the development ideal for investment and I know that if circumstances were to change I would be able to rent out the apartment very easily indeed.

“Aquarius is a fantastic development, in a superb location. I work in Witney, so the fact that Aquarius is only minutes from the town centre is a real advantage whilst the river creates a peaceful atmosphere, which is unusual for homes in such a central location.

“The sales staff have been brilliant throughout my purchase and we have developed a great working relationship. In fact we have built such a rapport that Buckell and Ballard now market Barratt’s part-exchange properties in the area, certainly a business deal is not something you would expect to happen when buying a new home.”

Chris Ashmore, Sales Director for Barratt said, “Aquarius is situated very close to Witney, a traditional market town on the edge of the Cotswolds offering a range of shops, bars and restaurants along with excellent schools and leisure facilities. This, teemed with the wide selection of properties available, makes Aquarius ideal for a range of homebuyers. From first-time buyers to growing families, there really is something for everyone.”

Barratt Mercia’s Part-Exchange Manager, Nicky Phillips added, “It is fantastic to have built such a good working relationship with Wendy and I am thoroughly looking forward to working with her in the future.”

Aquarius comprises one- and two-bedroom apartments and two-, three- and four-bedroom houses. Prices start from £189,995. For more information log on to Barratthomes.co.uk/aquarius.
