Weekend mortgage clinic at Axis

15th May 2008 Print
Barratt Mercia is offering to prescribe the perfect remedy to buying a new home at its Saturday mortgage clinic which is being held at its Axis development on Merton Street in Banbury.

This special surgery will take place this Saturday 31st May from 12pm to 5pm. The free clinic is available to anyone thinking about buying a property, from mortgage savvy investors wanting a financial ‘check up', to first-time buyers in need of some straight forward advice and guidance.

Chris Ashmore, Sales Director for Barratt explained, "We at Barratt know that the property market can often be a daunting place and in order to help ease the confusion, we have devised this impartial mortgage advice clinic to help buyers make the right decisions.

"There is no appointment necessary so potential buyers need only to arrive on the day in order to see our independent financial advisor (IFA) who will be on hand to provide a free diagnosis on which mortgage to chose and how much can be borrowed as well as answer questions on absolutely anything to do with mortgages.

"This clinic is particularly useful for first-time buyers who so often have limited knowledge of the mortgage and homebuying process, which can sometimes prevent people from trying to buy a home of their own. The IFA will be able to talk through all aspects of the mortgage process, whilst our experienced sales negotiators will be able to give advice on the buying process along with the homes available at Axis."

Axis is a landmark development superbly located just a few minutes walk from

Banbury town centre, including the Castle Quay shopping centre which benefits from over 70 shops and cafes. Kings Sutton railway station is also close by, along with junction 11 of the M40, making it the ideal base to travel to other areas of Oxfordshire and indeed the UK.

Axis is now entering its final stages of build and currently offers a selection of two-bedroom apartments. Prices start from £155,950. For more information about the homes available or the mortgage clinic, log on to Barratthomes.co.uk/axis.
