New retirement homes unveiled in Wantage Increased interest in Willow Grange, the David Wilson Retirement Homes development in Wantage has prompted plans to unveil a brand new show apartment this month.

Sales director Louise Ware said the opening of the new two bedroom show apartment will give potential buyers a great insight into the largest of the properties at Willow Grange – and the community being created at this gated retirement development.

“We are delighted to be able to showcase this two bedroom property with a stunning new show apartment,’’ said Louise. “We have five of these available at Willow Grange and all have stunning balconies and plenty of interior space.’’

She said that buyers looking for a larger property at the development are sure to be impressed with the two double bedrooms and the lounge which is large enough for a dining area.

“These apartments look fabulous and the outdoor living space on the balconies gives buyers here a great mix of living space and we have also included fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms for additional storage areas.’’

David Wilson Retirement Homes has chosen an impressive location for Willow Grange which has one and two bedroom apartments currently available.

And of course the development boasts David Wilson Retirement Homes features such as a communal lounge for residents, the 24 hour careline, a guest suite for visiting friends and relatives and a house manager.

The location is perfectly convenient to keep your independence with shops and amenities nearby and the maintenance of the buildings and grounds is taken care of by the house manager, so there’s no need for external DIY or maintaining a garden.

The retired community is well catered for, as local groups include the Lions Club, Rotary Club, Round Table, WI, WRVS and University of the Third Age (UTA). Sports clubs include Wantage Bowling Club and Frilford Heath, Drayton Park and Carswell Golf Clubs. There are home library services and free newspaper tapes for blind and partially sighted people.

The new show apartment is due to open in March when prices will be revealed but to register your interest now contact the sales office, open from 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday, or log on to dwh.co.uk/retirementhomes.
