An exclusive scheme for buyers in Banbury

28th July 2009 Print
An exclusive scheme for buyers in Banbury Home buyers in Banbury now have the chance to take advantage of an exclusive homebuying initiative from David Wilson Mercia at its Moo-ve development on Merton Street.

The scheme which is called HomeBuy Direct is provided by David Wilson in association with the Government and allows first-time buyers to move into a brand new home for just 70 per cent of the price.

Moo-ve is the only new home development in Banbury to offer HomeBuy Direct. However, there is only a very limited allocation of funding and therefore interested purchasers are being encouraged to come along to the development and secure their dream home today and take advantage of this superb offer.

Julia Chapman, Sales Manager for David Wilson Mercia explained, “HomeBuy Direct is fantastic as it helps those who may not otherwise be able to buy a home, get onto the property ladder. So it really is no surprise that the properties available with this scheme have been snapped up very quickly indeed.”

Those who are eligible to take advantage of HomeBuy Direct will receive an equity loan of 30 per cent of the new properties value. This loan is jointly funded by David Wilson Mercia and the Government. The purchaser then finances the final 70 per cent with either a mortgage, a deposit or a combination of the two.

David Edwards, Homes and Communities Agency regional director for the South East, said, “In the current climate it’s important that we help a range of people to find the best housing option to suit them, and simultaneously help stimulate the building of new homes. HomeBuy Direct, with our £400 million investment, is just one way in which we’re doing this and it is proving extremely popular.”

Julia continued, “There are currently four, two-bedroom Beta style apartments remaining for sale with HomeBuy Direct, priced from just £157,950. This means the lucky purchasers could move into one of these homes for as little as £110,565 which is fantastic value for such a highly sought after area and those interested should act now so as not to miss out on this superb opportunity.”

The Beta style apartments comprise open plan living/dining room and kitchen, en-suite to the master bedroom, further double bedroom and stylish bathroom, ideal for first-time buyers, young professionals and couples.

In addition to the HomeBuy Direct plots, a range of two- and three-bedroom houses and David Wilson’s innovative one-bedroom iPad’s are available. Prices for the iPad start from £116,950 and £181,950 for the houses. For more information, log on to dwh.co.uk and enter Moo-ve into the search facility.
