Latest project brings 11 homes to Chandlers Ford

3rd July 2007 Print
The new Tinos Homes development at Midhurst Court, Chandlers Ford Work has just started on 11 new homes in Chalvington Road, Chandlers Ford.

The properties are in Midhurst Court, reflecting the Sussex place names for roads in the area. They are being built by Tinos Homes, a house builder which mostly builds in Hampshire.

“This is a new-build scheme but we have also carried out sensitive restorations, too, in Hampshire so have highly-developed skills and a good pedigree behind us,” said Tinos Homes managing director Eliot Roberts.

“Our first scheme in Hampshire was reviving and bringing new life to Springwell in central Havant. There, we took the tannery that was part of possibly the town’s oldest industry and made the buildings into attractive new homes.

“In Southsea we are currently building five new homes in Kings Row, Havelock Road, while in Winchester we have just completed Granville House, the conversion of an imposing former Methodist church in St. Peter Street into around a dozen apartments.

“As a developer, we have decided to concentrate on Hampshire and have some other current projects in Surrey. Tinos is building a reputation for quality rather than quantity and we aim to provide homes that people desire as much as homes that people need.”

At Midhurst Court, Tinos is constructing a mix of three and five bedroom homes arranged around a close and prices are expected to range from around £269,000 to about £399,000.

“No matter what size house appeals to buyers, they will find the same high specification throughout,” added Mr. Roberts. “Kitchens are handmade by Optiplan and will be equipped with a range of appliances including a fridge / freezer, stainless steel oven, hob, and extractor.

“Shower rooms will be fully tiled and all bathrooms have a shower in addition to the bath. Lighting is designed to give a subtle blend in all rooms and, naturally, we use energy saving bulbs, too. Reflecting modern demands, all the homes come with a bike store as well as parking and, in many cases, garages.”

The houses are being marketed through the Chandlers Ford office of Fox and Sons. For more details, visit foxandsons.co.uk.
