Orchard Homes gains planning consent for luxury development Leading regional housebuilder, Orchard Homes is to repeat a winning formula in Winn Road, Southampton, after gaining planning consent to build 12 luxury two bedroom apartments, and two top floor penthouses with roof terraces.

Work on Aspect Court has already started and completion is likely to take place in early 2008.

The move follows the major success of Orchard’s landmark Compass Court in Winn Road, a development of 26 two bedroom apartments with under ground parking including a split level 1100 sq ft Duplex with roof terrace and a top floor penthouse with full width balcony.

Orchard Homes sales director Spencer Drake said: “There is a very strong demand for exclusive and stylish new homes in the premier location of Winn Road and no housebuilder meets that criteria better than Orchard.

“Our policy of buying land in only the best areas and using leading architects to build visually stunning homes to the highest specification using the best-quality materials, is an unbeatable formula.

“This is a very select development and the success of Compass Court suggests it will be in great demand so people should register their interest as early as possible.”

The Southampton-based company, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is renowned across the region for its cutting edge individually-designed buildings in the best locations.

Orchard also built the landmark Parkside development on Highfield Lane and Marlborough House in Blenheim Avenue.

This central and ever popular area is renowned for its community atmosphere with its popular church, successful infant and junior school and friendly local pubs.

Winn Road is also within easy reach of both the city centre and the 326 acre Southampton Common as well as having an extensive range of shops and restaurants and a new Waitrose supermarket on the doorstep.
