Demand for the two, three and four bedroom homes has been high since details were first released and the recent opening of the Alderney four bedroom showhome has given potential buyers a closer insight into how the development will look once complete.

“We are always pleased to be able to unveil a new showhome and the Alderney is a great example of the larger homes we are creating here in Highbridge,’’ said Barratt Homes sales director Louise Ware.

“One of the first through the door immediately reserved an Alderney and these local buyers are using our home exchange scheme for a hassle free way to move up the housing ladder,’’ said Louise. “We have also had interest from first time buyers and the prices which start at £137,500 are affordable for those looking to buy their first home.’’

Once complete, The Exchange will feature 45 new homes with a mix of apartments and houses to appeal to a wide range of buyers.

The location is one of the key factors in early interest in the development and Louise said that commuters have already been impressed with the easy access to the M5 which is less than two miles away and rail facilities nearby.

For further details contact the showhome and sales office which is open seven days a week from 11am until 6pm, or log onto Barratthomes.co.uk.
