The Hampshire developer has appointed the three-strong groundworks team to work across all sites on a permanent basis, helping to create a selection of contemporary bespoke properties from one to four bedroom homes.

The team will be utilised across the range of Southcott Homes’ developments, with work currently underway on properties in Colden Common, Chichester and Clanfield.

The company prides itself on employing local talent, and has therefore sought the expertise of local groundwork specialists Terry Burden, Michael Fitzpatrick and Paul Gooch, for the three roles.

Paul English, construction manager for Southcott Homes said the Groundworks division had been created as a cost effective way of bringing important build elements ‘in house’.

“Using a bespoke Southcott Homes groundworks team ensures building consistency across each of our developments, while providing valuable employment opportunities for local specialists in the construction industry. Our groundworks team is literally putting in the spadework for Southcott Homes’ future success!” explained Paul.
