The Malvern design available at Canal Walk Three of the seven newly released houses at Barratt Homes’ Canal Chase development on the outskirts of Romsey have already been reserved. The selection of one two-bedroom and six four-bedroom houses forms the second phase of Barratt Homes’ highly successful Canal Walk development, which lies adjacent to the newer site.

“Canal Chase is proving very popular with local families because we have four-bedroom detached houses and there is a great childrens play area close by,” said Janet Wilkes, Barratt Homes’ on-site sales negotiator. “Also, we can offer 100 per cent part exchange deals on selected new homes.

“It’s a great place to live because, despite the tranquil setting, the two developments are just a 15 minute walk to Romsey and a 10 minute walk to the local train station. Southampton and its airport are close by, so we can offer the ideal location for commuters.”

The remaining homes at Canal Chase include the two-bedroom Edgas, a terraced house with en-suite, lounge/diner, separate cloakroom and two parking spaces, which has an asking price of £240,995. Prices for the four-bedroom homes, which include two terraced houses with garages, start from £359,995.

Four homes, including three and four-bedroom houses, are still for sale at Canal Walk and prices start from £295,995. A two-bedroom terraced house – part of a shared ownership scheme whereby the purchaser buys 80 per cent and 20 per cent is owned by Test Valley Borough Council - is also available.
