St Bedes School pupils leave their mark

St Bedes School pupils leave their mark David Wilson Homes Southern is joining up with pupils from St Bedes Primary School in Popley to create a record of what life is like for Hampshire children in 2008. Over the coming weeks, pupils at the school will be working on a time capsule project, whereby they will be suggesting ideas for the contents of the capsule which they believe represent life in 2008.

Pupils will then be invited to David Wilson Homes’ Bramley Fields development to bury the completed capsule in the hope that people of the future will one day make the discovery.

Sales director for David Wilson Homes Southern, Lynne Morgan, comments: “As a housebuilder we recognise the importance of community and how things can quickly develop over time. We wanted to get involved with the local community to help create a record of what life’s like today in the area, in the hope that our efforts will one day prove useful for children of the future.

“We are incredibly pleased to be working with pupils from the St Bedes School, particularly as some of the children already live in David Wilson homes in the area. The contents of the capsule are entirely up to them and so we are looking forward to seeing what creative ideas they come up with!”

Properties currently on offer include a range of thoughtfully designed one bedroom i:LIFE homes priced from £140,000, two bedroom i:LIFE homes priced from £175,000, three bedroom properties priced from £190,000 and four bedroom detached houses priced from £275,000.
