Knowle Village caters for local art enthusiasts
On the weekend of Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June, Berkeley Homes Southern is hosting an exhibition of sculpture and artworks within five newly landscaped gardens at its Knowle Village development, in Wickham. All art enthusiasts are invited to the exhibition, where renowned local artists, including sculptor Hannah Stewart, will be displaying a stunning variety of artworks and sculpture to complement the professionally landscaped gardens. A diverse range of buyers, including young professionals, families and downsizers, reside in Knowle Village. To reflect this, each garden will have a distinct theme, from the traditional to the contemporary.
The event has been organised in association with Elizabeth Hodgson, from Underground Art + Design, who also curates the ‘Art in the Garden' exhibition at The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, in Hampshire.
"I'm looking forward to creating a vibrant and exciting exhibition that makes the most of the gardens and their landscaping," commented Elizabeth.
Visitors are welcome between 10am and 5pm, when they will be able to view the art and the gardens, meet some of the exhibiting artists and find out more about Knowle Village. Berkeley Homes is also offering £1,500 in vouchers towards any of the featured artworks, garden equipment or landscaping services to those reserving properties over the weekend. In addition to the vouchers, potential buyers can also find out about Berkeley's Part-Exchange and Easymove schemes.
"The idea of this event is to emphasise to potential buyers how brand new gardens can be turned into dynamic, beautiful spaces through the use of both hard and soft landscaping
techniques and bold planting," commented Nick Bell, senior sales consultant, "The inclusion of these stunning artworks by artists local to the area highlights the extraordinary community spirit of Knowle Village."
