Beat the credit crunch at Limes Park

26th September 2008 Print
Beat the credit crunch at Limes Park While the Government's plans to allow first-time buyers to take advantage of shared equity may still be some months away, Bryant Homes is offering homebuyers the opportunity to use the innovative scheme to buy their new home now.

‘Market Plus' means customers at Limes Park, the leading housebuilder's development in Basingstoke, need only take out a mortgage on 75% of the purchase price of their new home, with no deposit needed.

Bryant then provides a rent and interest-free loan on the remaining 25% of the purchase price for up to ten years.

Limes Park offers a range of two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four bedroom homes. Prices through this special initiative start from £142,496.

Ideal for couples and families of all ages, the three-bedroom ‘Gillies' townhouse, for example, features a spacious kitchen with a pantry and French doors to the rear private garden, as well as a study and a ground floor cloakroom.

Upstairs the first floor landing leads to a light and airy reception room and a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

Two further bedrooms and a main bathroom can be found on the top floor.

Like all new properties at Limes Park, the ‘Gillies' enjoys a high standard specification including gas central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

Limes Park enjoys a good position in a sought-after, leafy residential area to the north-west of Basingstoke town centre on the site of the former Park Prewett hospital.

English Partnerships is working closely with English Heritage to ensure that architecture of historic significance is preserved, while new homes complement existing buildings, with extensive use of natural slate, traditional brickwork and timber-framed windows. As many materials as possible have been taken from sustainable sources.

Limes Park will also include designated cycle routes, public open spaces and new bus services to connect with main routes and provide an alternative to the car for residents.

Basingstoke town centre is just two miles from the new homes, and blends historical influences with bustling modern shops and exciting leisure pursuits. Festival Place shopping centre is ranked in the UK's top 10 biggest and best, with 165 stores and 29 restaurants, bars and cafes.

The town is also home to top notch music venues, a choice of multi-screen cinemas, tennis courts, a leisure park, sports clubs, an ice rink, a swimming pool and bowling alleys. The open countryside is also just a stone's throw away, offering nature trails and opportunities for woodland walks and cycling.

Incentives are available to suit customers' circumstances and are subject to availability. Further details are available from the Sales Executive.
