First-time buyer Lucy Voce thought she might struggle to afford to buy a home of her own. The 28-year-old had been renting with a friend, but when the rent and living costs went up, she decided to investigate the cost of buying a home of her own in Basingstoke.

Lucy certainly hasn't had to settle for ‘second best' in her choice of home. "I could have carried on renting by finding a cheaper place, but not necessarily a place where I would have wanted to live. I looked at other developments and other properties on the market, but I really like Limes Park - it's peaceful and in a good location, with green spaces among the homes.

"I've already recommended the development to a friend - I think it's a great place for people to live."
