Fast moving couple buy new home with help from Bryant

Fast moving couple buy new home with help from Bryant Paramedics Zena and Adam Heywood are used to moving fast - but more than a year after they put their two-bedroom terraced home in Basingstoke on the market, there was still no sign of a buyer.

It was only when the couple decided to look at the brand new houses available at Bryant Homes' Limes Park development in Basingstoke that they found a solution to their property plight.

"We had just about given up trying to sell our old house when we found out about Bryant's Market Mover scheme. It helped us by paying for our Home Information Pack and for the estate agency fees - and meant we could reduce the selling price with a matched reduction to the price of the house we were purchasing.

"The result was that we sold our old place within a week of it going back on the market!"

Zena and Adam chose a three-bedroom ‘Idsworth' at Limes Park - a stylish three-bedroom townhouse which gives the couple the extra space they were looking for.

"We wanted to move because we had outgrown our first house, and we would like somewhere with room to start a family," explains Zena (37), who met Adam (32) working for the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

Their new home is an excellent choice for couples and families, comprising a contemporary kitchen with dining area, a utility room, a thoughtfully designed reception room, a study, and an en-suite to the master bedroom in addition to the main bathroom.

Like all new properties at the development, the ‘Idsworth' is finished to a high standard specification including central heating, double glazing with traditional timber frames, and a fitted kitchen with built in oven, hob and hood.

Customers can currently choose from a range of three-bedroom homes at Limes Park starting at £239,995, while the two-bedroom ‘Upton' house is available from £189,995 and the four-bedroom ‘Hollies' from £249,995.

Each is available using Bryant's Market Mover scheme, which cuts out hidden costs - and the hassle - of moving home.

Under the scheme, Bryant pays the legal fees, stamp duty and removal costs, and helps those with a property to sell to make a quick and easy move. In addition, first-time buyers can receive assistance with their deposit and fees.

Market Mover incentives can be tailored to homebuyers' circumstances and are available on a range of selected properties.

Limes Park is in a sought-after, leafy residential area to the north-west of Basingstoke town centre on the site of the former Park Prewett hospital. Architecture of historic significance is preserved at the site, while new homes are specially designed to complement existing buildings, with extensive use of natural slate, traditional brickwork and timber-framed windows. As many materials as possible have been taken from sustainable sources.

The development will also include designated cycle routes, public open spaces and new bus services to connect with main routes and provide an alternative to the car for residents.

Limes Park Marketing Suite, located off Rooksdown Avenue, Park Village, Basingstoke, is open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
