Site Manager builds relations with homebuyers

Phil scored a 100 per cent satisfaction rating from customers who have moved into homes at his previous developments, and in recognition, George Wimpey has awarded the 50-year-old a special ‘Hallmark for Customer Care’.
He also received the quarterly ‘Site Manager Award’ for his consistent high standards in co-ordinating the 60-strong team of builders and tradesmen at Bramley Green, and then led them to take the Site Team of the Month Award in December.
Last year Phil was also nominated for a Regional Award from the National House-Building Council.
The father-of-two, who lives in Eastleigh, has worked for George Wimpey for 12 years, starting out as a bricklayer.
He said: “We are often working against the elements and we are always trying to give the customer the best possible product we can. People moving in to the new homes we have built rate our work from nought to 100. Receiving a 100% rating – and the awards and nominations from George Wimpey – makes me feel I have done my job to the best standard I possibly could.
“Every day is different on site and there is always a challenge, which I love. I am everything to everyone who works there – a mother, a father and a doctor!”
Not content with the challenges each day at work can bring, Phil also recently completed the Three Peaks Challenge with nine colleagues, raising £6,275 for the Tenovus charity, which funds research and care for the control of cancer.
Phil and his team are building a delightful range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes at Bramley Green, offering a range of contemporary designs to suit all lifestyles.
Bramley Green enjoys a lovely location in the village of Bramley, home to a range of traditional shops and amenities, including a general store, a pub, a baker, a parish church and a primary school.
Two-bedroom homes at Bramley Green start at £189,995, three-bedroom are priced from £219,995, four-bedroom houses from £284,995 and five-bed-room homes from £449,995.
The development is located off German Road, Bramley, and is also open every day from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
