Family fun in the forest
For a Twiggletastic family day out of fun visit Bewilderwood, the curious treehouse adventure park near Wroxham in Norfolk this August Bank Holiday (Saturday 29th – Monday 31st).Join the Twiggles on a new woodland trail to explore the depths of the enchanted forest further than you’ve ever dared before.
Bewilderwood is opening a new ‘Twiggle Trail’ specifically for the August Bank Holiday and the new ‘Twiggle Trail and Twiggle Tales’ event will give you the chance to pioneer the unknown and the mysterious depths of Bewilderwood’s flora and fauna and help make marshmallows from real marsh.
"Take the trail challenge, collect stamps for your trail sheet, follow clues, use your head and run WILD!” says Jo Artherton, Marketing Manager of Bewilderwood. "Then gather round for BeWILDerwood’s popular interactive storytelling – you’re sure to be captivated by all the tricky tales of Boggles and Twiggles.”
Jo adds: "Our interactive storytelling is proving a big hit with children because they love to take part and imagine themselves as a Boggle or a Twiggle."
Bewilderwood is based on the magical children’s books written by local writer, Tom Blofeld. It’s a place of imagination and adventure, perfect for outdoor healthy play.
Be dazzled with tales about Bewilderwood's magical characters - the Twiggles and Boggles, Mildred the Crocklebog, Thornyclod and the naughty Bewilderbats who all make a curious difference to the Norfolk Broads.
The wonderful and mystical land of Bewilderwood has plenty to offer the whole family. This internationally award winning park has astonishing treehouses around Bewilderwood and Toddlewood. Build a den, take a plunge on the zip wires, sail down the Dismal Dyke and get lost in the Muddle Maze. Plus, if all this adventure works up your appetite, there are plenty of places to stop for some healthy and locally sourced food (where possible) and re-fuel at ‘The Cosy Cabin’, ‘The Snack Shack’ and ‘The Munch Bar’.
Bewilderwood is located in the woodland off the A1062 near Wroxham, situated near the beautiful surrounding of Hoveton Little Broad.
