Get fit and go green at Augusta Park Residents at Augusta Park in Andover are being encouraged to get fit and go green by being given a £50 voucher to put towards a bike.

The initiative, launched by house builders Bryant Homes and George Wimpey as part of their commitment to the community, is designed to help everyone exercise in an easy, inexpensive and enjoyable way.

Pauline Fletcher, regional sales and marketing director for Bryant Homes, said: “The Department of Health recommends that we all take 30 minutes of exercise that leaves us slightly out of breath five times a week. Cycling is an excellent, inexpensive and fun form of aerobic exercise that everyone can enjoy.

“There are numerous places to explore by bike around Andover with plenty of opportunities to rest those weary limbs with a refreshing drink in a country pub afterwards. For beginners there are short rides of a couple of miles through pretty villages, while families might like to pack a picnic and head for a scenic ride alongside the River Test or the River Anton. Those looking for more of a challenge should look into joining one of the local cycling clubs to discover new routes. If you’d like to get fit and go green why not come and see us?”

Tim Betts, regional sales and marketing director for George Wimpey, added: “As well as being good for your health, cycling is also more environmentally friendly than travelling by car. We are looking forward to welcoming lots of people to Augusta Park to find out more about how they can cycle their way to a healthy lifestyle.”

Families will find what they’re looking for at Bryant Homes at Augusta Park where there is a range of two bedroom homes priced from £159,995, four bedroom homes priced from £289,995 and six bedroom homes priced from £369,995.
