Air France KLM to confirm new management team for UK & Ireland

Air France KLM, the world’s leading airline group in terms of turnover has recently finalized its new joint management team for the UK & Ireland. The team, based at the head office in Bedfont, is headed up by Christine Ourmières, General Manager Air France KLM UK & Ireland.

Christine officially took up the role on 2 July, following a period of 2 years as the General Manager, Air France, UK & Ireland. Christine welcomes Richard Oliver, Head of Commercial, Air France KLM, UK & Ireland who joins the team from Dubai where he held the post of General Manager KLM. Richard is responsible for the Marketing (split into Direct and Mass marketing), Pricing, Distribution & Sales Audit, Management Information, Commercial Servicing and Training teams.

On the Sales side, the UK team has been split into Business Sales and Leisure & Direct Sales headed up by Tom Reeves and Simon Spinks respectively. Tom Reeves’ team is divided into Corporate, Trade and Field (London & South) Sales whilst Simon Spinks’ team is split into Leisure, Direct and Field (Regions) Sales. The Irish Sales team is lead by Boris Darceaux, the recently appointed Head of Sales Air France KLM, Ireland who is based in the Dublin office.

A joint team is also in place in the HR department, which is now lead by Paul Gilliam, Head of HR Air France KLM, UK & Ireland.

Naomi Dulfer is now the Press & Public Relations Manager for Air France KLM, UK & Ireland. Naomi will continue to oversee the Air France in-house PR team and now manage Consolidated who handle PR for KLM.

The Finance and IT departments for the UK & Ireland remain separate, as does the responsibility for the management of airport operations.

Customer Relations also remains two separate departments however is lead by a joint manager Caroline Vanhecke, Customer Relations Manager Air France KLM, UK & Ireland. The airlines both continue to operate 2 separate call centers.
