You may then opt to receive a free text message with all your check-in details as a handy reference for later on. To collect your boarding pass, simply go to the check-in machines or the baggage drop-off points at the airport.

Starting in September, KLM will also be offering the possibility of subscribing to a text message service via ‘My booking’ at Once you have subscribed, you will automatically receive a text message every time you have not yet checked in for your KLM flight. This personalized service will save you time as it gives you direct access to mobile check-in.

It couldn’t be easier! Now you really can check in for your flight anywhere, anytime.

In the future, it will also be possible to receive your boarding pass with a barcode on your mobile phone. You can then use this barcode to board, so you will no longer need a printed boarding pass.
