New KLM Crown Lounge at Houston Airport

2nd April 2008 Print
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines opened its new Crown Lounge at Houston Airport in early March, just ahead of the start of its Summer Schedule. The lounge is almost twice the size of its predecessor and is highly appreciated by passengers.

Boasting a floor size of 150 square meters and offering seating for 100 travelers, the new lounge features all the mod cons and is comparable to the Crown Lounges at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol . Visitors to the business corner can, for example, make use of free WiFi facilities. There is also a buffet serving hot and cold snacks, as well as a Starbucks coffee machine.

All premium passengers (including Elite and Elite Plus members of the Flying Blue loyalty program, as well as Business Class passengers) are welcome to use the lounge. The same applies to passengers of SkyTeam partners like Aeroméxico.

KLM operates daily service between Amsterdam and Houston. In addition, KLM offers a full Business Class Jet service to Houston six times a week, operated by PrivatAir.
