From Accra, explore the canopy of Kakum NP’s rainforest, then continue to Kumasi, capital of the Ashanti kingdom before travelling north and crossing into the seldom-visited country of Burkina Faso and a stay in its capital, Ouagadougou during Dragoman’s ‘Africa - The Best of Ghana and Mali’ tour.

Entering Mali, visit the legendary desert city, Timbuktu, before heading for Djenne, famed for its frenetic markets and mud mosque - the world’s largest mud structure. Trek through the Dogon tribal region on Bandiagara Escarpment, then back in Ghana, visit Brenu School community project, search for game in Mole NP, and enjoy some ‘R&R’ on the Gold Coast’s stunning beaches.
