Make a winter discovery in the dolomites

22nd October 2009 Print

On the edge of the Brenta Dolomites, high above the beautiful Renaissance town of Trento, lies Monte Bondone, an awe inspiring landscape of silver birch forest, rocky peaks and frozen rivers.

This is the perfect base for snowy activities. Nordic walk onto the plateau of Viote with spectacular views of the three peaks of Cima Verde, Dos d'Abramo and Cornetto, then learn how to cross country ski through the trees and visit Cantine Ferrari one of the best producers in the world of spumante, the local sparkling wine! With snowshoeing and night time walks, as well as historical architecture and stunning views, there is plenty to explore.

The eight day “Winter Discovery in the Dolomites” activity holiday now has a saving of £50 per person when departing 19th December 2009. Prices start from £748 per person (reduced from £798) tour only including seven nights 3* accommodation on full board basis, return airport transfers, a fully guided programme of winter walking, cross country skiing and snowshoe adventures, one night time ski outing and one torch lit accompanied forest walk. The price also includes all necessary tuition and passes as well as boots, poles, ski and snowshoe hire.
