Turning up the pleasure of muesli

28th September 2009 Print
Turning up the pleasure of muesli Breakfast lovers looking for a tasty comfort food in the morning can now help themselves to a bowlful of a new baked muesli - say hello to Kellogg’s Nature’s Pleasure.

Kellogg’s has taken the finest raw muesli ingredients, like grains, nuts and fruit and gently baked them to give a crunchy texture producing the tastiest muesli on the market.

All ingredients are the kind of things you’ll find in your kitchen cupboard. And, the baking – which brings out the flavour – is so simple you can do it in your own home.

Kellogg’s Nature’s Pleasure comes in four tasty recipes: apple and blackcurrant, raspberry and cherry, almond, pecan and cashew and almond pecan and raisin.

A bowl is great with ice cold milk but even better with natural yogurt.

It took Kellogg’s cooks in Manchester more than a year to dream up this latest serving from the famous cereal company which has been especially created for people turned-off by the dry, hard-work eat of some traditional muesli.

Kellogg’s Nature’s Pleasure will be on sale in stores like Waitrose and Sainsbury’s this summer, priced £2.49 for a 500g packet.

A 45g serving of this wholegrain muesli is high in fibre, low in salt and contains 188 calories – only nine percent of an adult’s recommended daily amount.
