2009 homes sell out at Oxley Gate With its stock of homes already sold out for 2009, leading house-builder George Wimpey South Midlands is offering customers excellent deals on houses purchased off-plan at its Oxley Gate development in Milton Keynes.

Buyers can currently choose from a selection of stunning three and four-bedroom property designs ranging from just £160,000 up to £329,000 – superb prices which can be secured now before the market recovery gathers pace.

Jason Colmer, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “With signs that confidence is returning to the property market, now really is a good time to reserve a new home.

“In addition to our range of incentives to help homebuyers in all circumstances, including those with houses to sell, our customers will secure their home at a fixed price – even if properties of the same design rise in value before their home is ready for them to move.”

House prices rose 0.8% in August according to the latest Halifax price index – the third increase in four months – yet would-be movers can still take advantage of property prices that are an average of 10.1% lower than this time last year*.

Just one of the homes available to purchase off-plan at Oxley Gate is the strikingly modern four-bedroom ‘Garnet’, priced from only £329,000 and a superb home for families.

Its contemporary design focuses firmly on making the best use of natural light and its high ceilings and large windows illuminate the spacious rooms from all angles.

At the heart of the ‘Garnet’ – which is available to view as a stylish showhome at Oxley Gate – lies an extensive lounge flowing through to a dining area, with a kitchen/breakfast room that’s ideal for relaxed family mealtimes and a guest cloakroom off the separate hallway completing the ground floor.

The impressive master bedroom, together with its en-suite bath and shower room, occupies the entire top floor of the property, while the first floor boasts two further double bedrooms and a fourth which is also ideal as a home office, along with a main bathroom.

The ‘Garnet’ also benefits from its own garage and two additional parking spaces, while, like all new homes at Oxley Gate, the property also enjoys a high standard specification including gas central heating, double glazing and a fully fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

By choosing their home before it has been built, purchasers can also choose their flooring and carpets, kitchen finishes and appliances, showers, tiling, bathroom suites and lighting. Because many options are built in as each property is constructed, the earlier a property is reserved, the more choices there are.

Located on the western edge of Milton Keynes, Oxley Gate is within easy reach of thecentre:mk shopping centre, Xscape leisure dome and the Theatre District, yet fringed by woodlands and open countryside.

The showhome and Sales Centre are located off the H6 Childs Way, Oxley Park and are open Friday to Wednesday from 11am to 5pm.
