New show home unveiled at The Orchards David Wilson Homes is set to take the wraps of its brand new development in Trowbridge on Saturday October 10 with the opening of the three bedroom Hadley showhome.

Just 17, two, three and four bedroom homes will be built at The Orchards and sales director Bernice McKenna is anticipating keen interest both from local buyers and those from further afield.

“Buyers looking for a new home in Trowbridge are set for a real treat and we are delighted to be able to launch the development in style with the opening of the Hadley.’’

This design offers families a spacious living room together with an open plan kitchen/dining room, perfect for entertaining in style and a separate utility room with direct access to the back garden.

Other house types at for The Orchards include the two bedroom Oxford which is a traditional two storey house which makes great use of the interior space.

There is an airy open plan lounge with dining area, a separate kitchen and downstairs cloakroom while the two double bedrooms share the family bathroom.

And the Government-back HomeBuy Direct scheme is available on the Oxford design. HomeBuy Direct gives homebuyers the chance to move in for only 70 per cent of the purchase price.

David Wilson South West will match the Government’s funding pound for pound in the venture to provide the 30 per cent equity loan to the homebuyer. The buyer finances the remaining 70 per cent either through a mortgage, a deposit or a combination of the two.

For families looking for four bedrooms, two versions of the popular Bowood are being built at The Orchards.

Both offer three double bedrooms and a large ensuite to the master bedroom together with fourth bedroom and family bathroom but flexible living accommodation means that buyers can choose from two different ground floor layouts.

The Bowood has a contemporary fitted kitchen/dining area for open plan family living together with a large study. The Bowood Special also has a contemporary kitchen and has a separate dining room and a study.

“We want to offer families flexibility in the choice of homes at this small development and these designs mean that buyers can select the home which fits their particular lifestyle,’’ said Bernice.

Trowbridge, the county town of Wiltshire, is a hive of activity, with numerous amenities and two modern shopping centres. In addition to rail links, there are regular bus services to neighbouring towns, including Bradford-on-Avon, Devizes, Chippenham and Swindon. The A36/A4 offer easy access to the cities of Salisbury, Bath and Bristol.
