When Dave and Gill Westacott decided to move to Peterborough, they were faced with the issue of what to do when they sold their existing property - while their new was still being built!

But through Stamford Homes’ ASSIST Plus incentive, they were able to get the price they wanted from their old home, move into paid for rented accommodation – AND watch their new home grow brick by brick.

“It was absolutely fabulous,” said Gill – who works as a staff nurse in Peterborough. “We were living and working in Newark and saw Stamford Homes on the website. We had always been impressed with their new homes, and had decided to move to Peterborough.

“When we settled on the Burghfield Place development, Stamford Homes assisted us in selling our existing home, and paying our rented accommodation while our new four-bedroom home was being built.”

ASSIST Plus – which allows customers who have a buyer for their existing home to still reserve a new one - is among several incentives available at the Gunthorpe development.

A new phase of two, three and four-bedroom homes has recently been launched, the first of which are due for completion in Spring 2010. Prices currently start from £137,500.
