Taylor Wimpey Ho Ho Homes is getting into the Christmas spirit at its Dukes Meadow development in Waterlooville with a festive extravaganza to celebrate the launch of its stunning new show homes.

On Saturday 5th December, from 10am-4pm, Santa Claus will be greeting visitors to Dukes Meadow and making sure he knows what all the children in Waterlooville want for Christmas. At 11am he will be joined by the Deputy Mayor of Havant, Councillor Yvonne Weeks, and Sade Allison, the Cowplain Community School pupil who named Dukes Meadow, in officially opening the stylish new Wickham and Purbrook show homes.

While Santa’s elves keep their children entertained with goody bags and Christmas activity packs, parents can have a look around the show homes and enjoy mince pies, mulled wine and hot roast chestnuts from a traditional stall. There will also be an opportunity for children to meet two of Santa’s reindeer and guess their names in a competition to win £100 in Toys ‘R’ Us gift vouchers.

Pauline Fletcher, regional sales and marketing director, said: “Christmas is certainly coming early for children in Waterlooville this year! Obviously this is Santa’s busiest time of the year so we’re thrilled that he’s able to visit Dukes Meadow and delighted to welcome Sade to the development she named.

“Visiting a show home is an excellent way to discover how a property could suit your lifestyle, as you can easily imagine where all your furniture and belongings would fit. You can also pick up some great tips about how to style your new home. Why not come along, meet Santa and pick up some inspiration?”

The stylish three bedroom Purbrook show home is perfect for young professionals as it offers three storeys of flexible living space. On the ground floor is a reception room, kitchen and cloakroom. There are two bedrooms, a family bathroom and a study on the first floor. Upstairs again is the master bedroom, which enjoys its own en-suite facilities.

The luxurious four bedroom Wickham show home is ideal for families looking for more space. Downstairs is an open plan reception room/dining room which is perfect for entertaining, a kitchen/breakfast room, study and cloakroom. Upstairs are four bedrooms, two of which enjoy en-suite facilities, and a family bathroom.

Dukes Meadow is situated on the site of Old Park Farm, south of Hambledon Road in Waterlooville. When complete it will consist of 450 Eco Homes (homes which include a range of eco-friendly features such as energy and water conservation measures, solar power and sustainable building materials) and 24 live/work units (homes which can also be used as a business premise). There are also plans for playing fields, footpaths and cycle ways as well as areas of nature conservation for residents to enjoy.
