Experience the pristine wilderness that is Antarctica in 2010 and save a massive 20 per cent on adventure cruises with World Expeditions. The adventure holiday specialist is offering the discount on selected cruises aboard the m/v Plancius.

This newly-refurbished, 112-passenger vessel is ideal for exploring Antarctica’s dramatic coastline, offering guests plenty of time ashore in this unforgettable environment - and discounted cruises start as soon as 26 January.

Antarctica’s huge glaciers, ice beaches, icebergs and deep-cut fjords are home to an amazing array of wildlife including whales, orcas, penguins, seals, albatrosses and other seabirds, and there will be frequent opportunities to get up close and personal with many different species.

At Grytviken Shackleton’s grave and an old whaling village now inhabited by King penguins and seals are major highlights before the Plancius heads to the icebergs and fjords of Antarctica.
