Travelguru.tv wins award for quality online video content

Travelguru.tv, the video based website featuring destination guides by travel industry experts, has been named winner of the fourth annual Costa Brava Girona G! Award for Best Audiovisual Communication 2009 for its report on Girona Province, presented by travel guru David Wickers.

The award recognises the quality of the 4.5 minute video and the diversity of the Costa Brava Girona region showcased by Wickers, including its historic towns and fishing villages, quiet coves, verdant valleys and walking and cycling trails.

Upon collecting the award in Olot, near Girona Travelguru.tv Managing Director, Cathy Bartrop, said: “The G! The G! Award makes a hat trick of prestigious awards received by Travelguru.tv since its launch in January 2008. The website received Best Use of Video in the Travelmole Web Awards and BT Business ‘Essence of Entrepreneur’ in 2008.
