New development gets off to a flying start in Fleet

Berkeley Homes (Southern) has reported that the sales team at their new Edenbrook development in Fleet have been inundated with enquiries from purchasers keen to register their interest in buying a new home there.
The development, in Hitches Lane, has not even launched yet, but in the last month interest for Edenbrook has picked up, with an average of 40 people calling for information every day in the month of December.
Pippa Bugby, Sales and Marketing Director for award-winning Berkeley Homes says: “Edenbrook is the only new development of its kind in Fleet, so it’s no surprise that we’ve had a high level of interest from prospective purchasers who want to buy a contemporary new home at Fleet’s newest development.
“At the moment the sales advisors are just taking enquiries and registering people’s interest in the scheme, and we’ve now got in excess of 400 people on our database. This is great news for Berkeley Homes and a great indication that confidence has started to return to the property market in Fleet!”
Edenbrook will offer an exclusive selection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes in a country park setting. The development has been inspired by the Art and Crafts Movement, and will offer homes which feature traditional English vernacular and have been designed to blend in with their surroundings. Nestled alongside a country park, the development has four distinct neighbourhoods and offers a good mix of focal points, natural features and thoroughfares – each with their own unique and evocative character. As well as 300 homes, Edenbrook will also feature sports facilities, lake areas, and its very own 94 acre country park.
Edenbrook is ideally located in the market town of Fleet, a town which offers a wide selection of shops, restaurants and bars as well as a variety of educational facilities. The development is just five miles from the M3, 42 miles from London and 45 miles from Southampton, making it an ideal home for commuters. Other nearby towns include Farnham, Wokingham and Guildford and there are a handful of picturesque villages also within easy reach. On the doorstep purchasers can also enjoy Basingstoke Canal and Fleet Pond Nature Reserve.
