Alesha Dixon teams up with LA Fitness

Now there’s no excuse to let your New Year fitness resolution slip away this January as LA fitness is offering up to six months free membership in a New Year deal aiming to get Britain fitter this decade.

The offer is part of LA fitness’ bid to motivate Brits into the gym and has appointed Alesha Dixon - singer, songwriter and Strictly Come Dancing Star - to spearhead its campaign. Having joined the boardroom of LA she is now urging others to get out of theirs and into its Clubs!

As LA fitness’ new brand ambassador Alesha is bringing her own sense of fun and style into its 81 clubs around the UK and is launching a competitive New Year price deal offering from three to six months free when signing up to LA fitness in January – a saving of hundreds of pounds on normal membership fees.

Says Alesha: “It's a fact that as a nation we’re not looking after our health as we should be. Mintel research says almost half of men and a third of women are overweight - so it's time we helped each other to get motivated and into the gym. This is a really good deal and makes going to the gym more affordable than ever.”

LA fitness believes the price offer will be a good motivator to get Brits through its Club doors, but one of the key issues for gyms is keeping hold of, and motivating members – research shows that gym membership has been more or less static in the last five years.
