Citroen launches photo competition to find life’s most ‘unique’ images

To celebrate the arrival of DS3, Citroen has launched an online competition inviting entrants to upload one photo that best exhibits the individual personality of DS3 along with a brief description of why their photo is so distinctive. The most ‘unique’ image, voted for by members of the public and a panel of jurors, will win a stylish DS3 for a year.

Visitors to the microsite can also vote for their favourite ‘unique’ photo from the virtual gallery. The top 50 voted for photos, will be viewed by a panel of Citroen jurors who will then choose one photo that best captures the individualistic spirit of DS3.

The lucky winner will receive a stylish new DS3 for 12 months/12,000 miles (Ts & Cs apply). The prize is a range-topping DSport, finished in black with a Carmen red roof with Urban Tribe roof design and is powered by the sporty 1.6THP 150hp engine.

The competition microsite also features a fantastic application of Citroen’s creative technology. Using Facebook Connect, the tool grabs a random selection of photos from the user’s Facebook account and integrates them into a video trailer for the competition.* The result is a short film that is visually personalised to the individual – the same personal experience buyers get when configuring their DS3.

The competition runs from 4th February to the 23rd of March. The winner will be announced on the 26th of March.
