Indulge in luxury at Hyatt's newest Caribbean resort

Hyatt Regency Curaçao Golf Resort, Spa and Marina is offering introductory rates starting at $199 (approx. £127) to celebrate the launch of the new luxury resort opening on 20 April.

Reflecting the rich historic culture, ambiance and charm of the island, the beachfront resort features 350 luxuriously appointed rooms, Atabei Spa focusing on indigenous treatments, full-service marina and the island’s only 18-hole championship resort golf course designed by Pete Dye.

The new Hyatt Regency Curaçao will also be participating in Hyatt’s “Three for Free” package. Guests who book four nights or more from 20 April – 22 December, 2010 will receive one free night, a complimentary breakfast for up to two adults and two children, and a room upgrade.

Located at Santa Barbara Plantation, a 1,500-acre luxury resort community, Hyatt Regency Curaçao’s other amenities include Camp Hyatt for guests 12 and under, multiple outdoor pools with lounge area, StayFit@Hyatt fitness centre, jogging trail, tennis and volleyball courts and over 18,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and banquet space. Three dining options will be available including MEDI, specialising in Mediterranean cuisine with an exhibition kitchen; SWIM, offering Pan Latino influenced dishes; and SHOR, a speciality seafood restaurant.

All 350 guestrooms, ranging from doubles, kings and junior suites to VIP, executive and presidential suites, feature natural sandstone flooring, a Hyatt Grand Bed, flat screen plasma television, deluxe bath amenities and scenic views of either Spanish Water Bay or the Caribbean Sea. A private enclave of three beach bungalows will also be available.

Located in the southwestern Caribbean, Curaçao offers an eclectic mix of history and culture. With a Dutch influence and European flair, the island is known for its sophistication, eco-tourism and pristine diving conditions. In addition to offering sun, sand, sea and diving, Curaçao also provides many cultural, historical and ecological points of interest that appeal to the upscale, sophisticated visitor.
