Dexel Tyres joins ContiNetwork national tyre network

Tyre supply and maintenance support for truck, van, bus and coach operators in South Yorkshire has been substantially enhanced with the appointment of Dexel Tyres as a partner in Continental Tyres’ national dealer network, ContiNetwork.

Dexel Tyres are operating the ContiNetwork partnership from their well-equipped depot at Hellaby near Rotherham. Its location close to Junction 1 of the M18 enables it to quickly reach the A1M, M1 and M62 and all parts of its designated territory.

Director Glyn Cainey says that he is delighted to be representing Continental Tyres in the area. “Continental is a highly regarded brand with excellent products at competitive prices which are becoming increasingly in demand from discerning operators keen to cut their annual tyre bill. When these high mileage tyres are managed using the ContiLifecycle five-stage process, costs can be cut by as much as 25% over the lifetime of a tyre.”

As well as supplying new Continental tyres for all commercial vehicle applications – truck, van, bus and coach – Dexel Tyres can undertake all types of tyre maintenance and repair, including safe roadside tyre changes. Regrooving can be carried out to extend tyre life and cases can be sent for retread, with a second regrooving then being possible before environmentally safe tyre disposal.

A fleet inspection service is also available to routinely check pressures, tread depths and look for signs of damage which can be carried out at the customer’s premises.

Forty fully-equipped service vehicles are available 24/7 across the Dexel Tyre Group to deal with emergency call-outs. These are located at Rotherham and at six more of the Group’s 13 depots across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
