With interest rates remaining at an historic low, the Bank of England reporting an increase in mortgage approvals over the past 12 months and the housing market definitely improving, housebuilder Taylor Wimpey Manchester is offering a range of incentives and schemes to help potential purchasers buy one of their new homes in Preston.

The housebuilder is offering three different schemes at The Oaks, a stunning collection of three and four bedroom homes on Parish Lane, off Golden Hill Lane, with prices from £144,995. The schemes will appeal to potential purchasers with a property to sell and potential first time buyers alike.

Potential purchasers who are struggling to sell their own property will be interested in Taylor Wimpey’s 100% part exchange scheme. The scheme can be a real help to people looking for the next step up the property ladder.

Regional sales and marketing director Anthony Mansfield said: “The most stressful aspect of buying a new home is selling your current property. With part exchange you don’t have to worry about selling your house because we will buy it from you. The scheme provides you with a guaranteed buyer, a hassle free move and it removes the financial burden of estate agents’ fees.”

As an extra incentive to use the Taylor Wimpey part exchange scheme, the housebuilder is also offering £500 towards legal costs for all new purchasers.

And purchasers using the scheme are also entitled to Taylor Wimpey’s ‘House to Home’ removal service, where a specialised team will pack and unpack their belongings and take care of removal insurance.

Meanwhile, potential first time buyers will be interested in Easystart, a Taylor Wimpey shared equity scheme aimed at helping those who are finding it difficult to raise larger deposits.

Under the scheme, first time buyers can own a new home but pay just 85 per cent of the value. The other 15 per cent is offered by the housebuilder as an interest free loan to be repaid within 10 years. The scheme is only available to first time buyers, allowing them to own 100 per cent of the property, while paying only 85 per cent of the purchase price now.

Easystart is being offered on one of the Henbury homes at the development, which was originally being offered for sale at £169,995. With Easystart, the property, which comes complete with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, combined living/dining area, private garden and two allocated car parking spaces, is available for just £144,995 with only five per cent deposit required.

The third scheme being offered at The Oaks is Recommend a Friend. The way the scheme operates is very straightforward. If you recommend someone as a potential purchaser who then goes on to buy a new home at The Oaks, both parties receive a cash gift of £500. To recommend someone under the scheme, you don’t even need to have a bought a home yourself.

The Oaks offers a fantastic mix of stylish new homes, attractive surroundings, local amenities and great transport links.

It is perfectly positioned in Leyland, being just few minutes away from the M65, M61 and the M6, meaning Manchester is just half an hour away. Rail connections via Preston provide excellent access to Scotland, the Midlands and London.

Leyland itself offers an extensive range of shops, eateries and bars as well as a number of popular leisure facilities nearby including Worden Hall, Longton Brickcroft and Cuerden Valley Country Park.
