Make a 'sensible investment' at Bletchley Park

22nd March 2010 Print

As research shows the vast majority of people still believe that buying a home is sound investment, would-be homeowners can take that first step onto the property ladder with a new Redrow apartment.

Out of more than 2,000 people questioned for the survey by YouGov, 84% stated that owning their own home was a “sensible long-term investment”, with just 5% feeling that purchasing a property was not a sensible investment.

And with the sales launch taking place this weekend (March 27/28) for Redrow’s brand new apartments at Bletchley Park, near Milton Keynes, those who share these beliefs will be delighted to have the first pick of a contemporary range of one and two-bedroom designs.

Dawn Dolloway, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), said: “The housing market has always experienced peaks and troughs but the results of this survey show that people’s confidence in home ownership as a long-term investment has not wavered.

“We are excited to be launching these brand new apartments, which buyers will be able to purchase ‘off-plan’. Bletchley Park is the ideal place for first time buyers to step onto the property ladder, downsizers looking for a smaller easy to manage property or professionals in search of an escape the hustle and bustle of city life.”

Properties in the first phase of Bletchley Park proved popular with buyers keen to invest in the area. Those who missed out will be eager to discover this new wave of homes, which will be ready for occupation in autumn 2010.

Dawn added: “These new homes at Bletchley Park will be a welcome addition to the housing stock in the Milton Keynes area. By being among the first to buy ‘off-plan’ purchasers can choose their preferred apartment position and also have more choice of the individual design touches that really make a home their own.

“And, if predictions from the Centre for Economics and Business Research* that house prices will increase by 6.5% this year prove correct, buyers could soon find that their new home is worth more than they paid for it.”

Bletchley Park is perfectly placed for commuters as it offers the best of small town living, yet is just a 45 minute train ride to the heart of London – with a train station directly opposite the development - has easy access to the M1 and is close to all the amenities of Milton Keynes.

For more information attend the sales launch event at Bletchley Park taking place on Saturday and Sunday, March 27 and 28 between 10am and 5.30pm.
