Kia Motors is extending the benefits of the UK scrappage scheme with the introduction of 7 Year Switch, offering owners of cars over seven years old the chance to trade up to a new Kia, take home a seven year warranty and save up to £2,000 off the list price.

The 7 Year Switch gives customers the chance to knock £2,000 off a Kia Soul, pro_cee’d, cee’d SW and cee'd.  Or, they could save £1,500 off any Picanto, Rio or Venga.

The urban-friendly Kia Soul is a concept car for the road, combining unique styling with the practicality needed in a family car.  New Kia customers could see themselves in a brand new Soul for as little as £9,495.

The brand new Venga went on sale in the UK on 1 Feb and is the latest compact Kia to offer fresh design, interior practicality and the sort of interior space normally found in a larger car.

The compact Kia Picanto offers maximum practicality in a minimum sized package and with 7 Year Switch is only £5,135 on-the-road.

The scheme works in a similar way to the Government’s scrappage scheme and is open to cars between seven and 10 years old with a valid MOT certificate.  Customers must have owned their cars for at least six months.

Like all good offers, the 7 Year Switch will not be around forever and only applies to new car orders taken up to the 31 March at participating dealers.

Michael Cole, Managing Director of Kia Motors (UK) Ltd., said: “Once again we’re giving more reasons for potential new customers to take a fresh look at Kia.  We have exciting new, fuel efficient, safe and high-quality cars in our showrooms across the whole of the UK and every single model is covered by the best new car warranty in Europe – seven years and 100,000 miles.”
