Wizz Air raises over 50,000 Euros for Haiti

Wizz Air, one of the largest low cost airlines in Central and Eastern Europe has been giving passengers the opportunity to contribute one euro per booking, with the airline matching each donation with the same amount to help the earthquake victims in Haiti.

Wizz Air collected 25,322 Euros and will match the donation by the same amount, making a total contribution of 50,644 Euros to the Red Cross.

“We are glad to be able to make this contribution to help the people of Haiti rebuild their country and we would like to thank our generous passengers for their donations” said György Abrán, Chief Commercial Officer of Wizz Air.
