6 new Ryanair routes from Glasgow Prestwick

Glasgow Prestwick emphasised its status as Scotland’s low-cost gateway to top European destinations this week with the launch of six new Ryanair routes.
Jetting off are three new services – to Ibiza, Fuerteventura and Carcassonne – plus the return for the summer season of three Scottish favourites – Pisa, Rome and Budapest.
Ryanair now has six aircraft based at Prestwick serving a total of twenty-nine attractive destinations that stretch from Sweden in the north to the Canary Islands in the south, and from Londonderry in the west to Hungary in the east.
Glasgow Prestwick Chief Executive Iain Cochrane said: “It's sunsational! Glasgow Prestwick is number one for sun-loving Scots this spring and summer. Thanks to Ryanair, we’re providing people with punctual, reliable flights at the lowest prices in Scotland.”
Ryanair’s Maria Macken said: “Ryanair is delighted to welcome passengers on board its new routes from Glasgow Prestwick. Whether it’s clubbing in Ibiza, relaxing over a nice glass of French wine in Carcassonne or soaking up the sun in Fuerteventura, Ryanair has got it covered.”
Ryanair celebrated the inauguration of these new routes and the re-introduction of three popular summer routes from Glasgow Prestwick to Pisa, Rome and Budapest and other new routes across its European network by releasing 1 million seats at just £8 including taxes and charges for travel in April and May, which are available for booking on ryanair.com before midnight on Thursday (1 April).
