Huge savings on new homes in Blackburn

With interest rates remaining at an historic low, the Bank of England reporting a rise in mortgage lending over the past twelve months and confidence definitely returning to the residential property market, housebuilder Taylor Wimpey Manchester is giving another reason to buy a new home in Blackburn.

The housebuilder is cutting thousands of pounds off selected properties at The Orchard on Laburnum Road.

Some of the biggest savings can be found on the Holly housetype. The price of a five bedroom Holly home has been reduced from £216,995 to £197,995, which means a massive saving of £19,000 on each home.

The three storey Holly housetype is perfect for larger families. As well as its five bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite bathroom, the Holly has two spacious reception rooms, a cleverly combined kitchen and breakfast area, a family bathroom and a separate utility room.

Each Holly home comes complete with its own allocated parking space and a private garden.

Taylor Wimpey Manchester sales and marketing director Anthony Mansfield commented: “Confidence has been steadily returning to the residential property market in Blackburn and across the North West.

“We’ve seen visitor numbers to our developments increase significantly in recent months and we are expecting the new prices we are able to offer at The Orchard to lift interest from potential purchasers to new levels.”

Significant reductions have also been offered on selected other properties at The Orchard. The five bedroomed Juniper and Poplar housetypes, both of which were previously being offered for £186,995 are now priced at just £174,995.

And a number of special schemes and incentives are also available at the development, including part exchange on selected properties and also Taylor Wimpey Manchester’s popular Recommend a Friend scheme.

The housebuilder recently doubled the reward it offers under its Recommend a Friend scheme at The Orchard.

Previously under the scheme, when someone completed a purchase of a new home at the Laburnum Road development and then recommended a friend who also bought a new home there, both parties received £500 from the housebuilder.

Now Taylor Wimpey has increased the reward to £1,000 each and has also extended the scheme. Anyone who makes a registered enquiry about The Orchard and who then recommends someone else who buys a property there is now eligible to take advantage of the Recommend a Friend scheme. They don’t have to have bought a property themselves.

The fantastic range of properties, quiet residential surroundings and close proximity to Blackburn town centre makes The Orchard a highly appealing proposition for would-be housebuyers. The development’s location in Little Harwood provides the perfect location for families, young couples and professionals alike.
