Champagne Spa Breaks

Indulge all the senses on a new Champagne Spa Break launched by specialist wine-tasting operator, Grape Escapes, adding to its portfolio of champagne-themed holidays.

The new break is based at the Relais and Châteaux boutique property, Hostellerie la Briqueterie, located in the heart of Champagne’s vineyards and just 4km from Epernay, home of the world’s most prestigious Champagne producers.

Highlights of the new package include an exclusive private Dom Perignon tour at Moët and Chandon where guests will have access to some of the oldest areas of the cellars which are seldom visited by the public, followed by a flute of the iconic Dom Perignon in a private reception room at the Moët mansion.

A four-course gourmet experience at la Briqueterie’s Michelin-starred restaurant, sampling traditional local dishes using regional Champagne products and herbs grown in the hotel’s extensive gardens, is another highlight. Also included is a pampering Decléor treatment in the peaceful cabins of the hotel’s celebrated spa, Bulles de Detente.

Guests also can enjoy the spa’s Turkish bath, which releases purifying eucalyptus oils, sauna, a swimming pool that overlooks the gardens and large jacuzzi.

The two-night Champagne Spa Break costs from £529 per person and is available all year round, mid-week and weekends.

The price includes return Dover to Calais ferry crossing, two nights’ bed and breakfast at Hostellerie la Briqueterie based on two people sharing, the exclusive Dom Perignon tour at Moët and Chandon which consists of a tour and a flute of Champagne, a one hour face or body spa treatment and a four course gourmet lunch and dinner with Champagne and wines. Upgrade to a Deluxe room for just £574 per person.
