Harrison Murray supports London Marathon runner

With his first London Marathon under his belt, Doddington’s James Salter-Boyden is now reaping the benefits of his latest fund-raising challenge.
Independent estate agents and valuers Harrison Murray have contributed towards James’ estimated £2,500 sponsorship in aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young.
James took part in the London Marathon to boost coffers and raise awareness of the condition, which claimed the life of a former school friend and footballing team mate seven years ago.
Since then, the community has raised thousands of pounds in the youngster’s memory, contributing vital funds for research into the condition that affects 15-35 year olds.
Annual memorial football tournaments and James’ own sky dive are included in the list of many events.
James (23) said: “I wanted to do something to help and the London Marathon seemed like a great challenge. I was pleased to get around the course – particularly as I was late arriving and ran an extra mile to the start line!
“I’d like to thank Harrison Murray for their support, their donation is very much appreciated.”
Harrison Murray’s branch manger for the March and Chatteris offices, Teresa Foreman said: “We were delighted to assist James in his fund-raising for such a worthy cause and congratulate him on his personal achievement.”
