New models from Yamaha at National Bikesafe event

Yamaha will be giving free test rides (subject to criteria) on the brand new Super Tenere and FZ8 at the upcoming National BikeSafe event.  This will be the first UK showing at an outside event of both models so be sure to visit the Yamaha stand early to book your test ride.

From the 12th to 13th June, Yamaha, supported by local dealer Sheffield Motorcycle Centre, will supply a whole host of 2010 models for customers to test ride. Alongside the brand new Super Tenere and FZ8, customers will have the opportunity to ride the versatile XJ6 Diversion F ABS, the awesome VMAX and championship winning YZF-R1.  Customers will be able to improve their road  skills with a 45 minute assessed ride, accompanied by an advanced Police motorcyclist as well as experiencing some serious Yamaha metal.

The ‘Get On’ team will be on hand throughout the weekend with Yamaha YBR125’s to offer visitors new to motorcycling and those getting back in the saddle, the opportunity to take a test ride in a safe and controlled environment.  Dave Coates, the Yamaha supported stunt rider, will also be putting his stunt expertise on display over the weekend.

For 2010 the National BikeSafe event is being hosted by South Yorkshire Police at Sheffield Arena. The show is completely free to visit and ample parking is available!
