New Yamaha Speedblock leathers

Yamaha is pleased to announce the release of its brand new Speedblock Leather riding suit collection for 2010. The stylish new leather suits are manufactured exclusively for Yamaha by Dainese and come in 1-piece and 2-piece designs with a choice of two colours; Blue or Black.

As you would expect from a garment made by Dainese, the quality, finish and innovation is second to none and both styles of suit feature the latest cutting edge technology from the world renowned Italian manufacturer. And because Yamaha knows that their riders come in all shapes and sizes, the new suits are available in regular and long, with long sizes giving an additional 5cm in suit length.

In addition, both suits also feature a piece of Yamaha’s racing heritage, with the racing ‘Speedblock’ motif taking pride of place in the overall design.

The new Speedblock leathers incorporate the following design features:

1.2mm Cowhide leather (perforated where applicable)

Elastic insert panels in crucial areas of movement (underarm, shoulder blades, crotch, legs and above knees)

Fixed sanitized lining (with 3D microclimate structure in 1-piece suit)

Articulated protectors for upper arms and lower back

Homologated composite protectors on elbows and shins

External replaceable aluminium shoulder inserts

Double calf zipper

Aerodynamic hump (1-piece suit only)

Interchangeable sliders

Available in Regular and Long length (longer by 5cm)

The 1-piece Speedblock suit retails for £799.99 inc VAT, whilst the 2-piece suit retails for £749.99 inc VAT.

Both suits are available in the following sizes; Regular 38”–48”, Long 40”–46” (longer by 5cm) and are only available from Authorised Yamaha dealers.

Also available are the matching Speedblock leather gloves featuring carbon fibre inserts in high impact areas like the knuckles and fingers and abrasion resistant Kevlar panels on the side and palm of the hand.

For additional security, the palm is double layered and the small finger is webbed to the ring finger to eliminate excessive displacement in the event of an accident. There is also double cuff closure for absolute peace of mind.

The new Speedblock gloves are also available in Blue or Black to match the 1-piece and 2-piece leather suits and retail at £114.99 inc VAT exclusively from Authorised Yamaha dealers.
