Leeds Building Society wins top savings awards
Leeds Building Society has won the awards for the ‘Best Notice Account Provider' and ‘Best No Notice Account Provider' at the prestigious 2010 Moneyfacts awards.
These awards are presented to the companies that have consistently offered the most competitive products, the best levels of service and shown the greatest innovation in the personal finance world during the last twelve months.
The winners of the 2010 Moneyfacts awards were announced at a special luncheon at the Millennium Hotel in Mayfair in London, hosted by ITV News' Economics Editor Daisy McAndrew, and attended by 300 industry professionals from leading financial institutions.
Michelle Slade, Press and P.R. Officer at Moneyfacts said, "The last year has been a trying time for savers with record low interest rates and high inflation figures. Despite the difficult economic conditions Leeds Building Society has continued to offer its savers consistently competitive rates of return. As a result Moneyfacts felt it only right that Leeds Building Society deserved the accolades of best notice and no notice account provider."
Kim Rebecchi, Leeds Building Society's Sales and Marketing Director said, "I am absolutely delighted Leeds Building Society has won the awards for ‘Best No Notice Account Provider' and ‘Best Notice Account Provider' at the 2010 Moneyfacts awards.
"Our mission is to be a successful independent building society, providing excellent value through quality customer service, efficiency and competitive products.
