New biking paradise adventures with Redtread Honda

Honda's highly regarded and popular off-road experience partner in Spain, Redtread, has now opened a second location in Morocco with the first tour scheduled for the start of September.

With bookings at Redtread Honda Spain regularly reaching sell-out point with both new and loyal returning customers, founders Ian and Sally knew that the next step was to create another Redtread location to ensure variety, but also build on the established and trusted reputation they have built since first opening in 2002.

The stunning scenery and awesome riding terrain of Southern Spain’s Sierra Nevada mountain range is a big hit with customers, so a new destination with equally dramatic and inspiring landscape was a must.

The Atlas Mountains in Morocco proved to be the perfect setting, with Redtread Honda Morocco now offering week-long adventure riding holidays, although shorter trips can be tailor-made if required.

There are regular flights to Marrakesh from a number of UK airports, before the adventure really starts, with an air-conditioned mini-bus transfer to the town of Ouarazazate, set in the spectacular High Atlas Mountains.

The first of six days of riding starts the following day, where you will encounter the vast wilderness and biking paradise that Morocco offers and cover around 1150km. The tour stays at a different hotel each night, but to ensure comfort after a day’s riding, each hotel is a minimum of 3 star with swimming pool, en-suite air-conditioned rooms with bar and restaurant.

Redtread Honda Morocco has a fleet of eleven brand new and acclaimed Honda CRF450X machines, although shorter people need not worry as there is the ability to have the bikes lowered to suit riders of all heights. There are also different tours available for novice, intermediate and more experienced riders, so the pace and route of the tours will be set to cater for all needs, so there really is something for everyone.

All riding gear, from head to foot, is provided within the cost of the experience, so there is no need for customers to bring any riding gear unless they would prefer to.

Redtread Honda Morocco has also invested to make sure that customers’ safety is fully taken care of, with satellite phones and guide and sweeper riders, as well as a backup vehicle following, which also carries customers’ personal luggage between hotels. GPS is used for navigation and a full complement of first-aid equipment is to hand if needed.
