Get a foot up the property ladder at The Piazza

24th June 2010 Print

First time buyers visiting Chippenham’s exciting The Piazza development can get a helping hand on to the property ladder next month, thanks to a special event organised by Barratt.

Those seeking new homes but feel unable to buy because of financial constraints may find the door is wide open at Barratt’s The Piazza – with just a few of the stunning two bedroom houses still available at the development.

“Owning your own home is something many people aspire to – but it is tricky for some to finance that first step,” said sales director, Andrea Pilgrim. “We are delighted to be able to help with a number of schemes – including HomeBuy Direct – and we are welcoming buyers to The Piazza on Saturday 10 July for a special BBQ event.

“On hand will be a number of experts specially gathered to advise and help make the dream of a new home a reality for those looking to buy.”

Buyers will need to be quick if they want to take advantage of HomeBuy Direct. The scheme gives buyers the opportunity to move in for just 70 per cent of the price – with the remaining 30 per cent covered by a loan from Barratt and the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency together with the buyer’s deposit. This means a smaller mortgage – making the monthly repayments much more affordable.

“This scheme is still available at The Piazza but this is really the last chance for buyers – with the government-backed scheme ending shortly,” said Andrea Pilgrim. “That said, our experts should be able to provide invaluable advice to those keen to make that first move in to the property market – hopefully by buying one of the stunning Amber designs at Piazza.”

From £139,995, the two bedroom Amber offers a spacious open plan living/dining area and a contemporary fitted kitchen. A downstairs cloakroom is also included. Upstairs are two bedrooms and there is an attractive family bathroom.

The Piazza is situated in the attractive market town of Chippenham and is close to all local amenities – including the outstanding Sheldon School. Commuters will find excellent transport links to nearby Bath and Bristol.

For details of current availability visit the sales office at Spanbourn Avenue, Chippenham, open from 11am to 6pm Wednesday to Monday.
